Our
Leader's Hymns
Occasionally the question is
asked from various parts of the field, as to how frequently
our Leader's hymns should be sung in the church services.
This question was answered in Mrs. Eddy's letter of March 3,
1903, to The Christian Science Board of Directors, and we
are glad to quote her words. In response to a request that
these hymns be sung more frequently in The Mother Church,
Mrs. Eddy wrote as follows: —
"It would be a good thing to have
one of my hymns read and sung about every Sunday. It would
spiritualize the thought of your audience, and this is more
needed in the church than aught else can be."
