Christian Science Testimony INFLUENZA HEALED           I have experienced many healings in Christian Science during the past ten years, but I am impelled to speak first of an instantaneous deliverance from influenza which came to me some years ago, at the time of the influenza epidemic. After suffering for two nights and a day from all the symptoms of this disease, I found myself, on the second morning after the attack, unable to raise my head from my pillow. I asked my wife for treatment in Christian Science, and she lovingly declared the truth for me at once. Healing was practically instantaneous. Within the hour I was up and dressed, and subsequently broke my fast for the first time in thirty-six hours. I went to my office as usual, with a feeling of complete freedom from weakness and nausea, and becoming absorbed in my work, only remembered the trouble late in the afternoon, when I realized that I was thoroughly normal in every respect.           I may add that this was my third experience with influenza, the two previous attacks having occurred before I knew anything about Christian Science. On each of these two previous occasions I was incapacitated for several weeks. In the third case, thanks to Christian Science, I was not absent from my post for a single hour.           While the above healing stands out in my recollection as a most wonderful and convincing proof of Truth's working, it is only one among many experiences, for each of which I am more grateful than words can express. I have been healed of boils, eczema, rheumatism, deafness, colds, bad temper and other bad habits. I have been delivered in great measure from the bondage of fear. My life and outlook have been changed completely; and not the least valuable of the lessons I have learned in Christian Science is the wisdom and necessity of denying each claim of error the moment it attempts to assert itself.
