I may add that this was my third experience with influenza, the two previous attacks having occurred before I knew anything about Christian Science. On each of these two previous occasions I was incapacitated for several weeks. In the third case, thanks to Christian Science, I was not absent from my post for a single hour.
While the above healing stands out in my recollection as a most wonderful and convincing proof of Truth's working, it is only one among many experiences, for each of which I am more grateful than words can express. I have been healed of boils, eczema, rheumatism, deafness, colds, bad temper and other bad habits. I have been delivered in great measure from the bondage of fear. My life and outlook have been changed completely; and not the least valuable of the lessons I have learned in Christian Science is the wisdom and necessity of denying each claim of error the moment it attempts to assert itself. "Error," says our beloved Leader in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 368), "is a coward before Truth;" and time and again it has fled before a resolute affirmation thereof. ...
