Christian Science Testimony INTERNAL GROWTH HEALED          It is with great thankfulness that I testify to the healing that has taken place in my home through Christian Science. Seventeen years have elapsed since we decided to give up all material means of healing, and in looking back over that time my heart overflows with thankfulness to God and gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has so clearly opened up for us the way to health and happiness through a correct understanding of God and man made in His image and likeness. I am particularly grateful for the removal of fear, which up to the time I commenced reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, seemed to possess my whole life.          Our eldest daughter's instantaneous healing of croup first brought us to take up the study of Christian Science in earnest. Since then we have relied on divine Principle alone for healing. When our youngest daughter was suffering from an internal growth we had the help of a practitioner, but without apparent change for some time. Feeling confident that Truth would make free, however, and resting on the many promises in the Bible which have been made so clear through the light thrown upon them by our textbook, we had no fear as to the final result. It seemed hard at times to follow the Scriptural advice, "Let patience have her perfect work," but we held on; and after two years we had the joy of seeing our reliance on Truth rewarded, for the growth came away completely and the healing was perfect, there being no after effects.          Words fail me when I try to express the joy this healing brought into our home, but the greatest satisfaction we have realized has been the spiritual uplift and the removal of the sense of fear which so often surrounds the home life where there are children. I desire further to express my thanks for the literature so abundantly provided, and for the services which have been so lovingly arranged for us by our revered Leader. Thomas E.
