HEALING OF SEVERED FINGER
My husband was working in a butcher shop, and one day he ran his second finger into the sausage-mill, grinding off the end of it, except for a piece of skin on one side. He called up a practitioner and asked whether he should have the end taken off or put back and dressed. She told him to put it back. He asked her to treat him and then went to a doctor's office. After waiting about an hour the doctor took a stitch in one side and tied the finger up, telling my husband to come back in the morning, as he would have to take the end off, since nothing of that kind ever healed. The next morning the finger looked quite a bit better, and the doctor said he would leave it another day; the third day it had improved so much that he took another stitch in it; and the tenth day it was entirely healed without a scar, and except that the nail showed where it had been slivered in being crushed, no one could tell it had ever been hurt. My daughter has been healed of different ills, among them spinal meningitis. I have also been healed of several ailments, for which I am grateful; but most of all I am thankful for the spiritual understanding I have received from the Bible through Mrs. Eddy's interpretation of it in Science and Health.
