ILLNESS
HEALED
. . . I would like to testify to
the beautiful healing of my mother, who was very ill last
summer and seemed about to pass on. I had been trying to
realize the truth for her for some days, but with no result.
One afternoon, I felt impelled to go away from the
appearance of error; and, whilst walking by the lake side, I
just held to the omnipotence of God, until I felt a great
assurance that all was well. Returning, however, there
seemed to be no change. Knowing that the work was done,
however, all fear left me; and that night I had a deep,
refreshing sleep. The next morning I awoke to find my mother
practically well; and she greatly rejoiced us all by taking
her place with us at table that day. It truly was a
wonderful healing.
I cannot close without
expressing great gratitude for the privilege of class
instruction, and for the beautiful teaching we received from
one of Mrs. Eddy's loyal students.
