MARVELOUS AWAKENING
I left the church with a sense as different as a man who steps from a cave into the sunlight. The world was flooded with a new light. In this effulgence I beheld a new, a higher view of God, of life, of purpose, of peace, of all things. This marvelous awakening brought with it the greatest eagerness to study, with my Bible, the books written by Mrs. Eddy. Through this joyous study, pain vanished; and the path up the mountain was seen. I am only one of the millions who have proved that Christian Science brings courage to the discouraged, health to the sick, joy to the joyless, and God to the heart. In the words of the Master it says to all, "Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." M. Ethel Whitcomb
