Christian Science Testimony GRATEFUL FOR MANY HEALINGS            It is fast approaching nine years since I took up the study of Christian Science, and while it was not primarily taken up for physical healing, I have experienced many healings. I had been looking for God, it seems, in every direction but the right one; and when coming into Christian Science, I received such a conception of the true God that it must and will last me for all time. A stomach disorder which had been with me for nearly twenty years was overcome through the study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Through applying my understanding of its teachings from day to day this seeming trouble vanished without my noticing it.          My daughter, then eleven years old, awoke one morning about four or five weeks after we first became interested in Christian Science, in a very peculiar condition. She called to me, but before I could reach her she had tried to get to my bed, falling as she came. When I had picked her up and laid her on her bed I noticed that there seemed to be neither breath nor heartbeat. I immediately looked away from this seeming condition by closing my eyes to error, and knowing that God is the only power and in His kingdom there is no death. My knowledge of Christian Science was very meager; but I applied the little I knew with good results, for in a very short time I saw the manifestations of life returning, and during the rest of the day there was no sign of any disturbance having occurred. She has since been healed of scarlet fever in twenty-four hours, although to mortal sense this was quite a severe case.          I have had the privilege of witnessing the healing of many different diseases. For all these blessings I am very grateful, but words are inadequate to express my gratitude for the spiritual uplift gained through this study. I am thankful to God, who gives us all good, and to Jesus, who came showing the way, also sincerely grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who was able through her purity of thought to reveal the truth in our age. It is a great privilege to be here at this time, receiving the blessings of Christian Science.
